Why
go Hi-Def anyway? Is it a must have or is it another flash in the pan?
Simply put, it's the most exciting thing to happen to television since
the introduction of colour broadcasting. It's like wiping away a mist
from your eyes so you can now see clearly. All the details such as the
beads of sweat on a sportsmans brow or the blades of grass on a
football field are brought into sharp relief by hi-def. Everything you
want to see and more are crystal clear when viewing high definition
television.
Put it this way, go to a window in your room. Now look outside. What
you're seeing is called reality and this is exactly what looking at
hi-def broadcasting is like. It really is that good.
The trouble is that once you've experienced it then it is very hard to
go back to standard definition viewing as unfortunately broadcasting in
hi-def is not yet the established way to broadcast.
